U.S. Space & Rocket Center

Immerse yourself in space exploration at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, a Smithsonian Affiliate and the Official Visitor Center for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Explore one of the world’s largest collections of rockets and space artifacts, and even train like an astronaut at Space Camp!

  • Museum Operating Hours are from 9 am to 5 pm from March 1st until October 31st.

  • Starting November 1st, 2026, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4p.m through February 28, 2027.
  • Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
